After an MSHP arrest drops from the five-day portal, request it through the official SHP-843-E form. It routes to Patrol Records Division, Arrest Records, P.O. Box 1408, Jefferson City, MO 65102. The form calls for requester certification and a signature. It also provides for a redacted copy when the requester lacks a listed basis for another version.
Local-agency records follow a different route. Write to the Wayne County Sheriff for sheriff-created material, or ask Piedmont and Williamsville police for their records. Under section 610.100, an arrest report generally closes to public access if no charge is filed within 30 days, except for disposition information that remains open by law.
